About Elements of Style
There are so many aspects about what I do that I love. Meeting new people, gaining friendships and building confidence is definitely number one. I also totally love the creative side of things, using hair as a canvas to create something beautiful. In 2007, I graduated from The Temple – a Paul Mitchel partner school. Since then I have practiced hair cutting, coloring, and styling at some of Frederick’s finest salons. In 2020, I decided it was time to branch out and open a salon of my own – That Hair Witch.

Starting at a very young age, I remember going to the hair salon with my mom and knowing it was what I wanted to do when I grew up. I'd like to say that I've always had an artistic spark to me. As a freshman in high school, I worked in a salon as a shampoo girl and worked my way up from there.
Now my favorite things to do are highlights, creative colors, Glitterlites, and extensions. When I’m not doing hair, I enjoy hanging out with my husband, our 2 kids, and our dog. I love traveling (especially to new places), baking, reading, and enjoying the outdoors, and I try to catch up with family and friends as often as I can. It includes, thorough consultation, confirmation of pricing, aromatic shoulder and neck massage, hot towel treatment, relaxing scalp massage. With decades of experience, I am a custom colorist specializing in color correction. Finishing and dressing hair for special occasions (or any occasion!) is an important part of what I love to do.

I am a well rounded stylist that can cut and color all textures of hair. I found my home when I started at Structures Salon. Structures holds many memorable moments for me as it was the salon I went to for homecoming and prom updos, and to get that perfect blond. Starting here a year ago meant the beginning of many new friendships, both with my fellow stylists and amazing clients. I am a braid and updo enthusiast, and I love working with bold colors. Always a great atmosphere for kids and adults alike.
